Every November, we welcome the holiday season by introducing our special Holiday Blend. As the days grow shorter and the air grows colder, it’s a tradition that we hope you’ll join us in celebrating. We’ve crafted this coffee to take the chill out of a cold winter’s day and put you in a festive mood. This year, our Holiday Blend features 100% Organic and Rainforest Alliance certified coffees that embody the same holistic approach to sustainability that we care so much about.
We roast this blend to a medium-dark Viennese color to add body and caramelized undertones. The roast fully develops the flavors within this exceptional blend, without adding the burnt aftertaste associated with overly dark roasts.
In the spirit of the holidays, we are pleased to announce that 25¢ from each pound of our Holiday Blend sold will be donated to the non-profit organization Coffee Kids. This organization has helped thousands of families in coffee-producing regions around the world to improve the quality of their lives and build more sustainable communities.
The Coffee Kids staff partner with local non-governmental community organizations in Latin America to create education, health-care, training, and micro-financing programs for coffee farmers and their families. Their projects respect the cultural integrity of their local partners, foster independence and promote long-term self-sufficiency.
